He Swallowed WHAT?

Have you programmed the number for poison control into your speed dial? The number is 1-800-222-1222. If you haven't done it yet, DO IT NOW.  When you call poison control, they look up the substance your child has ingested and tell you how to proceed.  If you need to go to the hospital, they call ahead and warn the ER so they are expecting you and are ready to begin treating your child immediately.
